- The Chamber shall
encourage business and community prosperity by promoting economic programs
designed to strengthen and enhance the financial opportunities for all
businesses within Afghanistan and Australia.
- The Chamber shall
promote trade and business relations between Afghanistan and Australia and
provide the opportunities for its members in both countries to meet, discuss
and promote their common interests in commercial, industrial and financial
matters.
- The chamber shall
liaise and maintain relation with the embassies, other chambers, Trade and
industrial associations, NGOs, local and foreign authorities in both countries
and exchange trade related information and shall be active as a mediator in the
event of disputes between the trade bodies of the two countries.
- The Chamber will serve
as an effective non-partisan, non-sectarian voice for business on legislative,
business, social, governmental and community issues affecting in both countries.
- The chamber will
provide level playing field for the promotion of trade, investment, industrial
development collaboration, transfer of technology, joint ventures, exchange of
business delegations, organizing/participation in trade exhibitions, exploring
new trade and economic cooperation opportunities, identify areas of mutual interests,,
alleviation of illegal trade, promotion of positive aspects in perceptions of
both countries and rejecting terrorism and extremism within the spheres of both
countries.
- The Chamber may reject
to render services to non-members. In case “the chamber” offers its services to
non-members, it may charge a service fee (with expenses); the rate and manner
of application of which shall be determined by the board or any other
authorized body of the Chamber.
